The TV is in a bedroom we are renting to Traveling Nurses so I wanted them to be able to turn it off or whatever, from the bed.
Wanted to let anyone know because I went through remotes and covers forever before finding a match.
This remote is a perfect replacement for the OEM.
It works exactly like the OEM, but the directional buttons are not as rounded and the OK button does not have the recognizable two bumps, which can be difficult to get used to while using the remote without looking at it first.

This remote is a perfect match for the original. It functions identically like the OEM, however the directional buttons are not as rounded, and the OK button lacks the two identifiable bumps. When I tried it, it immediately switched on the television. I'm learning the buttons because it's different from the original remote that came with the television. It didn't come with a track pad like the original, but I rarely used it and don't miss it. Years ago, I lost my original remote and found it difficult to adjust the input. Right out of the box, this works! It lacks the trackpad found on the original. I don't use it very often, but I don't miss it. This one will work with a cover; just type in "remote brand name (with Samsung) silicone cover" in the Amazon search bar, and they will appear. I just wanted to let everyone know because I went through a lot of remotes and covers before finding one that worked. I needed a new Samsung replacement and had read negative reviews on here for a true "Samsung" remote, but I also wanted to locate a remote silicone cover (bright and glow in the dark, and simpler to find than black), and this one will fit with a cover.
